Out and about

I had my four month doctors appointment on Thursday. Things were going well until that nurse came in with those needles.... boy, that hurt. The doctor said I'm doing great! I weigh just over 16 pounds now and she said I could have cereal! Dad gave me some last night. I'm not too sure about it, though. I think more ended up on my bib and the burp cloth than in my belly. I'll probably get the hang of it really soon.

I went to the dentist today with mom. The dentist has a four month old daughter and he was planning our first date. I did see her picture- pretty cute! It took a while for the dentist to get to mom's filling and I started to get a little cranky. One of the hygenists came over and scooped me out of that old car seat and I was passed all around! That was much more fun than sitting there.

Dad put together my Intellitainer the other day. I'm still a little wiggly for it, but it sure does look like fun! All those things hanging there, just waiting for a good chomping!

I think my Aunt Cathy may have to give me my first hair cut pretty soon, it sure is getting long! I had some crazy hair this morning and mom thought it was funny so she took all kinds of pictures. That is all anyone ever talks about is this hair of mine!

I'm 4 months old!

I am four months old today! I woke up in a pretty good mood, although I did have some trouble sleeping last night. My nose has been stuffy and it’s hard for me to breathe. I’ve been lying on my side and it helps! I am sad cause I have to go see the doctor on Thursday and get more of those shots. Mom is taking off work on Friday to stay home with me.







I got to stay home with dad on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Missy’s son was sick so I couldn’t go over her house. He took me for a walk around the block and we stopped at Ryan’s house. His grandma was in town and wanted to see me. My family came over for dinner on Sunday. We are going to Hilton Head next August! I can’t wait to play in the sand! Mom and Dad took me to Schact farm yesterday to pick out some pumpkins. They had some animals there. I got to see goats and horses. Their house sure was stinky!




I went to my first Halloween party on Saturday. Mom tried to put that silly costume on me, but I wouldn’t hear of it. They had a piñata there and I watched all the kids taking turns hitting it. I’m still a little young for that but it sure looked like fun! We hung out for a little bit and then headed home cause it was getting cold out.

Sooo BIG!

I sure have had a lot going on lately! Mom went back to work last month and I've been going to Missy's house. I like it over there, I play with Parker, my neighbor. He's 3 weeks older than me. I miss spending the day with my mom, but Missy's is fun, too!


I had my 3 month pictures taken and that lady sure did get me to smile! She was doing all sorts of crazy things. I usually hate being on my tummy, but, really- you shoulda seen this lady!



I've been spending a lot of time sitting up and standing! I love to stand up and look all around at things.











My linkadoo's are my new favorite thing! They are mighty tasty and I can actually hold them and put them in my mouth! I'm working on sticking my lion in there, but his head is too big. And guess what-- this swing my cousins let me borrow- it has TOYS on it!! I sit and play with them and try to get those in my mouth, too. That doesn't always work out, though.



My grandma made me this cool pillow and I love hanging out and playing in it! Oh, and I love to nap in it, too! It sure is comfy!
